Last month I was invited to preview the The Estee Edit by Estee Lauder & Kendall Jenner collection, which is a collection that is geared to appeal to the “millennial” consumers. The event was held at a super modern upscale venue in Toronto. Estee Lauder has built a brand for a number of years to take risks when it comes to beauty. This collection has totally shown beauty with an attitude from the bold vivid shades of Cobalt Blue right down to the sleek packaging.
In the The Estee Edit by Estee Lauder & Kedall Jenner collection is broken down into 3 alter egos “the barest” “the go glow” and “the edgiest” each is personified as by a certain look depending on how the products are applied such as washes of colour for bare beauty, intense dramatic washes for a more edgier look or focusing on making the skin glow. What I love most is how the packaging still represents Estee Lauder’s classic blue packaging, and white with blue splatters for more flare and modern edge to it.
For the last little while I have been playing around with some of the lip products that I received from the event. The quality is amazing, especially being that I have never tried any of Estee Lauder’s lip products in the past. I had no idea how wonderful they felt. The matte lipstick in the shade You’re welcome is a beautiful high colour mattified Red lipstick that is infused with 20% conditioning oils which includes jojoba oil to help keep lips moisturized. Estee Edit also launched 2 lip shade transformers one to lighten(yellow- turn up) and one to darken(black- turn down) which my little girl is obsessed with putting on. The pigmentation in the transformers are so incredible you can also wear them on their own.
I also received the pink peony overnight water pack which is a water-gel like formula that delivers a boost of hydration to the skin overnight, to provide the skin with soft glowing radiance. The Pink Peony Overnight Pack is full of antioxidants such as goji berry, blueberry, cranberry and hyaluronic acid to provide the skin with more energy. Overall I am in love with this collection, it has alot to offer in terms of coverage, colour selection and skin type and the prices for the collection range anywhere from 20$ and up as well. To check out more from the collection you can visit Sephora’s website for more here

This collection sounds really cool. I love Estee Lauder make-up, and these products sound really new and fresh. I’d love to try that overnight pack.

This collection is quite cool and definitely seems like it is aged at a different (maybe younger) market. I actually had no idea the Kendall was involved in this collection but I can’t say I’m not surprised since she has worked with them before
14/05/2016 at 3:56 amI saw those ‘transformer’ shades and for second thought “What were they thinking?!” but once I read what you could do with them I’m really intrigued to try them.
