Summer Splashin’ at Cedar Park Resort
This summer has been a busy one for my family. We have spent endless hours enjoying the hot weather and bright sun in the Water. My Goal this summer for the family was to utilize the outdoors as much as possible. Since Winter is right around the corner. The kids really enjoy spending time outside especially spending time in the Water. So far for the summer we have been able to discover places we had no clue existed. Its amazing that we are quick to jump on a jet plane to go to a beach with blue water. When we have some of the most beautiful places here in Ontario. Today I am sharing with you a spot that we recently visited a few times Cedar Park Resort.
Cedar Park is located In Bowmanville Ontario, a 35-45 min car ride from where I live. The Grounds Resort is huge! it offers a large picnic area where you can bring your own travel BBQ and Food. There are also 3 Water Slides, a great splash pad if you have younger ones and the perfect Playground for the kids to run wild.If you enjoy Tennis and miniature Golf you also have that option too. Its also the perfect family spot for Camping if you have and RV or just a day trip with the family.
The Water area is beautiful, clean well kept and safe for the kids to play with. Every where I turned there were lifeguards strolling to ensure everyone was safe in the water area. The snack bar had some of the best burgers, fries and Funnel cake Fries you will ever taste all at reasonable prices. Speaking of prices there is an admission fee to get into the resort which you can check out here
Overall the resort is definitely a fun filled day with the family. There is enough to do that you will not get bored. So get out and enjoy the rest of your summer. Tomorrow we are going to another special destination which I promise to share with you all!
