Summer Fun

Summer Fun with Netflix for kids ages 6-8

#momtruth sometimes Netflix is my saving grace. It plays episodes one after another the selection of shows and movies are endless. Not to mention the kids are kept entertained when I just can’t cope. Now that School is out and Summer is swinging, keeping the kids quiet and entertained can be hard. My kids love watching Netflix, its something they looked forward to on the weekends during the school year. Since we don’t allow screen time during the week. Once Friday comes, grab a snack and enjoy the their weekend until Sunday when its back to routine.

Today’s post I am sharing Summer Fun with Netflix for kids ages 6-8 . This summer we don’t have too much planned yet. So until we do playing outside and screen time is what they enjoy. What I love about Netflix is how accessible it is on many devices that we use when on the go. Currently the kids enjoy watching Netflix in the Family Room, it gives me the time to catch up on blogging work and I can still supervise them.

There are so many choices at shows to pick for the kids and I wish I could add them all. However the few that I have posted I documented as those that the kids watched the most of. Some days its hard for me to work because I catch myself watching what they are watching too and I am totally eyes deep into it. So with that being said here are a few shows and movies that are kid friendly for both boys and girls to enjoy over the summer or in general.

gamin show in my parents garage

The show is about three kids, Jesse, Julia, and Ian, who run a gaming show in Jesse’s parents’ garage. Each kid goes through a very different experience which involves learning about the world of video gaming. Example how sound is put into a game. They also interact with notable people from the video game industry and learn about their work. On occasion, they get to hang out with video game characters too (example: Mario). Depending on the episode, one of the kids try to prove to the other one’s mistake in the consequence they are presently involved in. In the end, the other learns about his/her day and they all agree to have fun.
