Quo Lip Velour Swatches in Razzmatazz & Amazing

You know me, and you know that lip products are my weakness. That’s what the majority of my makeup collection consists of. I have over 300 lip products currently and that’s after a gigantic purge I did before I moved into my new home, as well as a few months ago I did another. Anyway, those that know the Canadian brand Quo which is exclusive to Murale and Shoppers Drug Mart, they have alot of great cosmetics to choose from and recently revamped quite a few of their lip products to include liquid lipsticks which I will be sharing with you. The Quo Lip Velour Swatches in Razzmatazz & Amazing are a new addition to the Quo line, there are 6 shades to choose that retail for $12 each. The shades in the Velour line include a Berry(*razzmatazz), Red(Fired Up), Peach(Mango Tango), Fuchsia(tickle me pink), and Pink(*amazing & drama queen)

Each tube has 7ml of product, that are long lasting, non drying and give a matte finish that is easy to remove. I picked up two shades while at work to try because I was unsure of how good they would actually perform. Let me tell you! They are pretty damn amazing I have to say. They lasted on my lips after eating, drinking and talking for about 5+ hours before I saw any bit of wearing off on the inner portion of my lips. The applicator is a bit confusing though, its a brush applicator with densely packed bristles. I assume for precise application, the colour pay off is beautiful too you can layer the shades without it looking cakey at all. They were also really comfortable to wear and didn’t dry out my lips. In terms of quality they are quite similar to the Stila stay all day lipsticks and even have some dupe shades in their line that almost identical to Stila’s stay all day liquid lipsticks.

Overall, the Quo Lip Velours are a great buy if you are looking for liquid lipsticks and don’t want to commit to the price of other brands. You also don’t have to worry about compromising quality because like I said they are just as amazing to high end brands out there. Have you tried the Quo Lip Velours? What are your thoughts on them?
