M∙A∙C Chris Chang Collection

China’s most outlandish fashion designer, Chris Chang, puts an acid-soaked twist on her modern M·A·C collection, featuring a vivid kaleidoscope of cutting-edge colour, inspired by the ancient Chinese art form Kunqu. Surreal hues of Lipstick, Cream Colour Base and Eye Shadow, and specially designed packaging, are saturated in her signature dramatic flair.
I have been waiting for this collection to drop for so long. I love funky colours, and abstract/kaleidoscope designs i guess its the 80’s in me, and this collection is totally inspired by bright vivid colours. For me this collection is unlike any of the M·A·C collections that I have, I love limited edition packaging and the intricate designs on the packaging are to die for. The collaboration with Chris Chang and M·A·C draws inspiration from old ancient art form from China, although I am not familiar with this art form by the look of the packaging I know it is just as beautiful as the collection is, if not more. The M∙A∙C Chris Chang Collection has 14 products to choose from, 5 lipsticks, 4 eye shadows, 3 cream colour bases, 1 fluid line and a finishing powder. From the collection I was sent for review a lipstick and a shadow and they are amazing. The shades are perfect for Spring and summer and the lipstick is matte. WINNER!!!
The quality didn’t disappoint I love how vibrant the eye shadow is even without a primer as well as it being a matte finish. The lipstick sort of reminds me of Candy yum yum…. come to think of it I haven’t worn that shade in a really long time! anyway this collection is worth checking out. I dont really do a lot of make-up cause i have quite a sensitive skin. But I would like to try out the lip colour shades. they look really elegant and chic. 🙂
