Happy Birthday Vanilla French Toast Recipe

Happy Birthday Vanilla French Toast Recipe

Last Thursday if you read my blog post you would know it was my husbands birthday. Now my husband is a very simple fellow and he appreciates gifts made with love. Since I know he loves my cooking I decided to surprise him with a special breakfast. When he arrived home from work Thursday morning. Now I normally make french toast for special occasions for my family. However I decided to make it even more special by using different bread and adding ingredients I normally don’t use. Since glitter isn`t edible lol I went with Sprinkles instead.

Happy Birthday Vanilla French Toast Recipe

Let me tell you, I made this as a test run the day before for lunch for the kids and they went wild. My son told me its better than the restaurant French Toast. That we get when we dine for breakfast. It was delicious I even made my own syrup/sauce from scratch as well. Normally when I make French Toast I use whatever bread loaf is available at the time. This time I went with a Texas loaf/ thick slice loaf of Bread. Keep in mind, the bread you use for French Toast makes a huge difference in the taste and fluffiness of the Bread.

Happy Birthday Vanilla French Toast RecipeThe Syrup that I made was also the most delicious syrup as well. It complimented the texture and taste of the French Toast. Its safe to say that my husband and children really enjoyed this breakfast so much that they told me they`ve been dreaming about it. So its only fair that I share my recipe with you. I hope this becomes a breakfast staple in your home.
