Brazilian Grilled Pineapple RecipeBrazilian Grilled Pineapple Recipe

Today I am sharing an easy and delicious dessert option that can be enjoyed with the family or for a dinner Party this summer. Now that BBQ season is in full effect I pretty much prepare most of my meals on the BBQ, since I am always cooking something I might as well do it and enjoy the beautiful weather too. Yesterday I was chopping up a pineapple for my hubby’s breafast and I decided that for dessert,  I would throw some on the grill for the Family to enjoy.

Brazilian Grilled Pineapple Recipe

We love Pineapple and we try to enjoy it all year round. If you are familiar with Brazilian Steakhouses, Grilled/Roasted Pineapple is a popular dished that is served as a dessert option as well, every few years hubby and I like to dine at one particular steakhouse to enjoy a beautiful evening of all you can eat Brazilian prepared Steaks, Corn Bread, Fried Bananas and Grilled/Roasted Pineapple and live Brazilian entertainment. Since I can’t go out to eat all the time I decided to make my own. What I love most about this recipe is how easy it is to throw together because of the few ingredients that is needed. Well its Friday and the weather is incredible, so lets get to it, spark up the grill so you can dig in too!

Ingredients

1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1 Pineapple Sliced and Cored(optional)
Non Stick Spray

Instructions

Slice and Core Pineapple then set aside
Spray Grill with non stick spray
Preheat grill
In a ziplock bag add Cinnamon and Sugar
Place one slice of Pineapple at a time and coat with Sugar mixture until all slices are covered evenly
Place each slice on grill and cook until edges start to caramelized
Remove from grill, plate and enjoy.

Notes

Coring pineapple is optional, I choose not to because that is where I stick my fork and I eat around the core. If you choose to core cut Pineapple into chucks for easier coating.

Wow. This sounds so good. I’m off of refined sugar right now, but as soon as my challenge is over, I’m going to make this for my family. Yum.

I love grilled pineapple, but I’ve never thought to grill it up just as a dessert. It’s such a great idea! Definitely need to try this next time we grill out.
