Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick for Spring 2016
I love a good lipstick and up until now I thought I knew what a good lipstick was until the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick for Spring 2016 arrived at my door unexpectedly. This collection is packed with high intensity colour, extreme moisture in 34 seductive shades to choose from. If you know Bite beauty them you know their products are always paraben, sulfate and phthalates free. The Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick for Spring 2016 are all made of natural ingredients that you can eat and that do not compromise the wear and quality of their lipsticks.
The shades that I was sent for review from the collection was Spritzer, Honeycomb, Chai, Gazpacho, Beetroot, and Black Truffle. The scent of the lipsticks are much different from the Vanilla scent I love and own, the scent of these lipsticks are from a pressed citrus fruit not overpowering in any way. When I swatched them on my lips I immediately fell in love with the texture of them, my lips felt absolutely amazing. They were soft, stayed moisturized and with one swipe my lips were packed with colour that lasted for hours.
Now for those of you that are not aware the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick for Spring 2016 will be replacing the luminous creme lipsticks. Thank goodness! although the luminous cremes were great I experienced alot of feathering and bleeding and I felt that they had to much slip/oil in them. However that is not the case with the new collection. The price point is fair for the quality at $26 USD and $30 CAD. There are enough colours in the new collection that would be suitable for all seasons which is great and along with that the colour selection is great too.
I normally wear matte lip colours, its been that way for the last 2 years I would say, the finish of the Amuse Bouche Lipsticks are satin but last well over 6 hours in wear time. The shades I received were amazing. Sprizter is a Lilac pink shade that has a few cool hues to it, Honeycomb is the perfect beige nude shade for my complexion. Chai is very pretty it is a cool mauve brown and sort of reminded me of Velvet Teddy from MAC just a little darker and cooler. I am always looking for the perfect Blue based Red and Gazpacho it amazing! Beetroot is the perfect Berry shade for the fall as is Black Truffle. Black truffle is an absolutely amazing Violet Black shade.
The Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick for Spring 2016 is a real game changer for lipsticks from the way they are made and they way they perform. After reviewing these my lips will never be the same. Have you tried this collection? What did you pick up and what are some of your favourite shades aside from these? Let me know in the comments below.
