Looking for a crisp tasting wine to try? with a sweet aroma to have your guests palates screaming for more?
Today’s post I will be talking about the 2015 Kim Crawford’s Sauvignon Blanc Malborough
If you know me well you know that the way to my heart is a good wine, Red or White I love them equally. On the weekend my husband called me at work to find out what wine I wanted to sip on as we finished our last bit of Christmas wrapping. I normally choose Jackson Triggs, which is one of my absolute favourites, however Hubby ended picking up the 2015 Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc Malborough
Let me tell you it was the most delicious wine I have ever had in my life. It tasted like I was drinking a tropical drink on a beach in Cuba. The explosion of sharp citrus fruits with a blend of green herbs in my mouth was so intense, so much that when you open the bottle you are clothed with an aroma of tropical fruits and fresh cut grass as well. The taste is refreshingly light you could easily get carried away and drink the entire bottle in one sitting. The 2015 Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc Malborough reminded somewhat of a light champagne with a slight bubble/fizz with that being said the 2015 Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc Malborough would be perfect to use for Sangria’s or with pieces of fruit in it on a summers day.
Sauvignon Blanc by Kim Crawford is light enough that you could really enjoy it with your favourite salad or seafood dish such as Oysters. You could also pair it was a creamier cheese such as Brie or even a texture like Goat cheese
This New Zealand wine’s Grapes were carefully picked from the Vineyards of Malborough’s Wairau Valley along with the neighboring Awatere Valley. Its won many awards such as the Gold decanter wine, Mundus International wine and many more over the years. At $17 dollars a bottle, this wine is a prized bottle that should be shared while entertaining among your closest friends enjoying an intimate meal.
This is defintely a repurchase for me. I love the way it tastes its not heavy and it can be paired with a lot of different food ideas for entertaining.

23/12/2015 at 11:22 amLove Kim Crawford Wines! My tip for picking New Zealand white wines is to go for Hawkes Bay Chardonnay and Marlbrorough Sauvignon Blanc. Otago and Martinborough do some great Pinot Noirs.
23/12/2015 at 5:34 pmI absolutely love your description of this! I will be picking up a bottle for New Year’s for sure after reading this. Definitely a white wine drinker here.
